Neil Ramsay – Architectural Technician

Neil RamsayNeil began his career in architecture as an apprentice technician for Robert Paul Architects in
Dunblane in 2006 whilst completing his Architectural Technology HND at Forth Valley College. Following His graduation, he stayed with the company, learning and gaining experience from Robert Paul and Sandy Ferguson until 2010 when Neil went on to take some time away from the industry to pursue life as a touring musician.

In 2013 Neil decided to return to Architecture and joined Contracts Scotland as a consultant technician, spending time at Persimmon Homes (Scotland) and David Reid Group Structural & Civil Engineers. In 2015 Neil took up a permanent post with CRA (Alloa) Ltd. Structural and Civil Engineers which gave him the opportunity to develop his knowledge and experience within the structural and civil aspects of the construction industry however the ambition to return to Architecture was ever-present and in November 2019 Neil took the opportunity to join the team at Andrew Allan Architecture.

In his spare time, Neil is a keen cricketer and can be found at the crease most weekends during the summer. When not playing cricket Neil is often gigging and recording as well as occasionally building scale models.
